Ten Days Devoted to Older People

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources celebrated labor veterans on the International Day of Older People.
The International Day of Older People is celebrated around the world on October 1. It was established at the initiative of the United Nations General Assembly on December 14, 1990. To promote changes in society’s attitude to its elderly members was the main mission of the campaign.
The Day of Older People is a kind and bright holiday when we pay special attention to the older generation. Every year the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and its territorial administrations make the special program devoted to this Day.
Rustem Kamalov, the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, expressed his gratitude to labor veterans for their successful work on management system enhancement in the field of environmental protection and wished them good health, happiness, and many happy returns of the day.
The achieved success in area of environmental protection is the result of continued work of highly skilled experts – true professionals, devoted to their noble cause.
