Meeting of the Interdepartmental Operation Group on Regulation of Water Regimes of Volga-Kamsk Cascade Reservoirs

Today a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Operation Group on Regulation of water regimes of Volga-Kamsk Cascade reservoirs took place in the Federal Agency for Water Resources of the Russian Federation. Ildar Fattakhov, the Head of the Minerals, Raw and Water Resources Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the meeting.
Data on the hydrological and hydro economic situation in the Volga-Kamsk Basin, the forecast on the water inflow into the cascade basins both for October and for the fourth quarter of 2012 made by the Federal Hydrometereology and Environmental Monitoring Agency were considered at the meeting.
The participants of the meeting also discussed their proposals on water regimes of hydroelectric complexes of Volga-Kamsk Cascade for the period from October 11 to November 10, 2012.
