Petroleum products along with storm drains. Lack of local treatment facilities led to soil pollution in Almetyevsk

Inspectors from the South-eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Almetyevsk discovered the fact that storm drains were dumped onto the terrain. The drain pipe was removed from the territory of one of the metal depots.

According to the results of analysis of the selected samples, ecologists recorded excesses in oil products in the soil. The company is brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
