An excess of ethylbenzene and hydrogen sulfide was recorded in Nizhnekamsk from September 8 to September 9

Based on complaints from Nizhnekamsk residents regarding the smell present in the air, inspectors from Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with laboratory specialists took samples at 12 points in the city.

Due to the fact that excesses were found in the residential zone, the case materials will be transferred to the Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare of the Republic of Tatarstan for further consideration and adoption of measures.
