Opening of the 19th International Exhibition “Oil, gas. Petrochemistry”

    Today, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov opened the 19th International Exhibition “Oil, gas. Petrochemistry” that will be held until September 7. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov took part in the solemn opening ceremony.

      The exhibition “Oil, gas. Petrochemistry” is one of the largest regional oil and gas exhibitions of the Russian Federation and it plays a special role in development of regional economy, technological infrastructure and technical re-equipment of the companies forming part of the Russian oil-gas-chemical complex. 

      During the exhibition, the top domestic and foreign companies found among the world leaders in oil and gas resources, as well as in production, transportation and processing of oil and gas, presented their advanced technologies and innovative equipment for the oil and gas industry purposes.

      More than 240 Russian companies, as well as 9 foreign companies representing Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, China, Romania, USA, Finland, and Japan also participated in the exhibition.

     In the framework of the exhibition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding”, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, OAO TATNEFT, OAO “TAIF”, ZAO “Nefteconsortium”, and OAO “Kazanskaya yarmarka” held a Contest for the best exhibit, project or technical solution.

      Goals and tasks of the contest included provision of assistance in technical re-equipment to the companies of the oil-gas-chemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and introduction of modern technologies into the industrial process, creation of the database of advanced developments of equipment and technologies for the oil-gas-chemical complex, as well as inspiration of young specialists for inventions, rational proposals and improvements of the current technological industrial processes.

Ravil Muratov and his party looked over the companies’ stands and exhibits including those of OAO “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, TATNEFT, “Transneft”, “RITEK”, “Bashneft”, “TAIF” and others.

     The 7th Interregional Scientific Conference “Industrial Ecology and Safety” was held in the framework of the exhibition.
