Press Raid in Naberezhnye Chelny

Inspectors of Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and representatives of mass media conducted a press raid in Naberezhnye Chelny aiming at detection of violations of the environmental protection legislation.
Journalists of Shakhri-Chally and Chelninskie Izvestiya newspapers, and such TV companies as REN-TV, Chally-TV, and Efir participated in the press raid.
In the course of inspection of Naberezhnye Chelny territory, violation regarding handling of production and consumption waste was detected. To be more specific, the territory adjacent to the building of the “Organ Music Hall” was littered with wood waste and bituminous waste, waste oils, oiled rags and so on. Administrative proceedings were commenced regarding this violation.
Moreover, in the course of the raid it became obvious that the Rules for beautification of Naberezhnye Chelny had also been violated, since there were vehicles parked on the lawn. For these causes 2 protocols were drawn up against individuals under art. 3.6 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
