New breath of Izumrudnoye Lake. Today a massive Saturday voluntary clean-up day was held in Kazan

Izumrudnoye Lake is a favorite vacation place of citizens for year around. Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental campaign to clean up the area. The campaign was attended by activists of the ecological movement “Will Be Clean”, representatives of various organizations, divers of the underwater research group named after A.A. Leonov, as well as caring townspeople. More than 100 people worked on the shore of the lake.
