Environmentalists have prevented the multimillion damage from floods in Zelenodolskiy district
Exit from the emergency situation and withdrawal from the flooding zone of two settlements. Nurlaty and Bolshoye Khodyashevo of Zelenodolskiy district are flooded every spring. Here, hydraulic structures needed overhaul repairs. Hydraulic structures are practically updated thanks to the state contracts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the federal target program.
Today, in Nurlaty village, all main works have been completed: the earthen dam has been repaired, the bucket spillway with ice protection, the bottom drainage, anti-erosion facilities have been restored. Prevented damage amounted to 35.5 million rubles. 70 residential buildings with a population of 100 people were withdrawn from the flooding zone, as well as a gas pipeline, power lines, a highway, a shop, an administrative building, a cattle farm. The total cost of construction and installation work amounted to 12,987.4 thousand rubles.
