Raid at the Kazanka River water area

The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov took part in one of the ordinary raids of the nature protection inspectors for water bodies’ protection. The Kazanka River water area was examined regarding unauthorized discharge of sewage waters into the water body and littering of the coastal area in the framework of the regional control over use and protection of water bodies.
The Head of the State Inspection of Environmental Control Timur Gilmutdinov, Head of the Central Territorial Department Ilkham Sabirov also participated in the raid.
In the course of examination of the Kazanka River water area, inspectors revealed littering of the left coast with household waste on the territory of the natural monument of regional importance “Urochische “Russian-German Switzerland””, as well as the right coast along Gavrilova street. The Central Territorial Department assumed special control over the issue of littering of the coastal areas of the Kazanka River.
