Alexander Shadrikov made a report on ongoing surveillance activities in the field of waste management today at the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

The first results of transition to a new system of production and consumption waste management were discussed today at the forty-eighth meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fifth convocation. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Shadrikov reported on the ongoing supervisory activities in this area to deputies.

For 4 months of 2019, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan compiled 890 administrative materials in the field of waste management, revealed 800 unauthorized disposal sites, which is 20% less than last year. 95% of identified landfills were eliminated.
