Round tables within the framework of the II International Conference “Lakes of Eurasia: Problems and Solutions” were held today in the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan

Problems of rational use and protection of water bodies were discussed today at a meeting of the round table at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The discussion was organized within the framework of the II International Conference “Lakes of Eurasia: Problems and Solution” held in Kazan.

The participants of the round table studied the republic’s experience in ecological rehabilitation and improvement of water bodies, discussed problems and prospects of hydromorphological monitoring of water bodies and their water protection zones, as well as prospects for studying and reducing nutrient load from the catchment using the example of the Kuibyshev reservoir.
