Tatarstan courts convicted Almetyevsk enterprise of soil pollution

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the decision of the Almetyevsk town court on conviction of a legal entity - Intermettrade OOO in an administrative offense, as provided for by article 8.7, part 2 of the RF Code.

Let us recall, environmentalists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan in Almetyevsk on the territory of the production base, which is engaged in collection and recycling of scrap metal, found violations of environmental legislation requirements. On the area of ​​1600 square meters waste from ferrous and non-ferrous metals containing petroleum products were disposed. The absence of a system for collecting stormwater was also identified.
