A meeting on improvement of ecological conditions in Almetyevsk Municipal District

   Today, Artem Sidorov, Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the seminar meeting on improvement of ecological conditions in Almetyevsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan that was held in Novonikolsk village. The Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Faskhutdinov took part in the seminar meeting as well.

    In the course of the seminar meeting, the Minister Artem Sidorov, Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Faskhutdinov, Head of Almetyevsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan Mazit Salikhov, Head of South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov and other participants attended the exhibition regarding ecological state of private farms along with the children’s festival “Sabantuy” (“Celebration”) and familiarized with the process of fostering of pupils’ environmental awareness at Novonikolsk secondary school. Moreover, they attended a newly built biothermal hole, a new fire safety station, a fire safety pier and a building estate “Yaktash” under construction. At the end of the village territory inspection, all the participants planted trees in a new public garden “Druzhba”.

    The main issue brought up for discussion during the plenary session of the meeting concerned full engagement of local communities in the process of collection of solid domestic waste by    01.07.2012. Artem Sidorov highly appreciated accurate and well coordinated work conducted in Almetyevsk Municipal District regarding beautification of communities, improvement of ecological conditions and fostering of ecological awareness of the younger generation.

    Heads of agricultural companies, heads of communities, and departments of the Executive Committee of Almetyevsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as community services took also part in the seminar meeting.
