Implementation of the national project "Ecology" was discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of Council on Strategic Development and National Projects

The Meeting of the Presidium of the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects was held on the eve by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Dmitry Kobylkin, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, informed on results that are planned to be achieved in 2019 on the national project “Ecology”, confirming the start of implementation of all 11 areas and introduction of the necessary information into the “Electronic Budget”. In terms of forest restoration, the task to reduce the damage from forest fires by three times, to achieve sustainable forest reproduction was set. In addition to the innovations identified by the Minister, in order to increase the level of professional training, it is planned to develop an educational program for waste management specialists and employees of nature conservation in 2019.
