“With a view to state regulation of impact, in the reporting year, 417 materials were reviewed for setting standards for maximum permissible emissions and obtaining permits for emissions, 402 permits were issued, two were suspended”, said Sergey Bogatyrev, Head of the Environmental Impact Assessment Department. In turn, the Head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Shubin added that in order to reduce the negative impact of vehicles, an operation called “Clean Air” was carried out together with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Department. 6,696 vehicles were checked, 375 administrative protocols were compiled.
