The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia has developed a Methodology for calculating the indicator "Environmental Quality" to assess the effectiveness of top government officials in Russian regions
According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the draft Methodology has been submitted for approval to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. According to the Methodology, the assessment is based on indicators of federal projects included in the national project “Ecology”, implementation of which is under control of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and its subordinate services and agencies.
The value of “Environmental Quality” integral indicator will be calculated on the basis of two criteria:
- the degree of achievement of indicators of federal projects included in indicators of the national project "Ecology" established for a region;
- the degree of efficiency in the use of funds within the framework of implementation of the above federal projects of the national project “Ecology” in the territory.
