Illegal snow dump with the size of 9 tennis courts was identified in Almetyevsk

Unauthorized snow dumping in close proximity to the water-protection zone of the Stepnoy Zai River in Almetyevsk, was discovered by specialists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan. The area of ​​the snow dump was 2100 square meters. Specialists from the South-Eastern SIAK analyzed the samples of precipitation. Laboratory specialists found in samples a significant excess of the maximum allowable concentration of petroleum products and chlorides”, said state inspector Regina Rafagetdinova. At the moment, the question of initiating an administrative case against the violator of environmental legislation is being considered, the perpetrator is being identified.
