The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan supported the position of environmentalists regarding the involvement of the Nurlatsky enterprise in environmental pollution. During the inspection of the territory, it was established that the organization provides temporary storage of ferrous metal waste on the soil with a total area of 180 square meters, as well as debris from demolition and dismantling of buildings on the area of 360 square meters, which violates environmental legislation requirements. In addition, it was found that the territory of the ferrous metal receiving point was not equipped with a drainage network with independent sewage treatment plants and was not equipped with an embankment that does not meet the requirements of SanPin 2.1.7.1322-03. Based on the above, a protocol was drawn up for a legal entity under art. 8.2 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Disagreeing with the punishment, the organization appealed to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court ordered the metal base to pay 100 thousand rubles to the state.
