Festival of pupils “Nature and us” in Nizhnekamsk

The II Republican ecological festival of pupils “Nature and us” was opened at the Children’s Ecological and Biological Center in Nizhnekamsk within the framework of creation of environmental awareness of the younger generation with the participation of Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The festival mainly aimed at fostering of correct attitude towards people’s behavior outside. To that effect, such nominations as “Eco-picnic” and “Magic tablecloth” were suggested. Children generated interesting ideas as to how to organize outdoor recreation. More than 300 children and adults took part in the off-site round.
Winners of the on-site round of creative nominations were awarded with prizes during the celebration.
Those who took active part in the event were awarded with environmental literature.
