Press-raid in Naberezhnye Chelny

On April 20, within the frames of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign in Naberezhnye Chelny, the press raid was conducted with the participation of inspectors of Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, and representatives of mass media.
During the inspection of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny several facts of release of production and consumption waste to soil were revealed. So, for example, within the frames of administrative investigation, inspection was carried out at the place of detected unauthorized waste disposal, located at the following address: Menzelinsky tract, district of Garage Construction Co-operative “Olimpiyskiy”. During the inspection the specialists of the Special Inspection of Analytical Control of Cis-Kama Territorial Department took samples in order to determine specific hazard class and estimate ecological damage. Following the results of the administrative investigation, guilty parties will be held liable.
