Results of volleyball competitions

The volleyball team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Minister Artem Sidorov took the 3rd place in the 2nd Spartakiada Games among executives of Government executive bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan, having passed forward only teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology team came to the fore in the selection round, having outplayed the teams of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, and of the Administration of the Federal Correctional Service for the Republic of Tatarstan with the score 2-0.
In the Finals the team of the Ministry outplayed the team of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan, and in the quarterfinal it outplayed the team of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan with the same score 2-0. In the semi-final the team suffered defeat from the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In a tough struggle for the 3rd place in a three-set match, having shown mettle, our team snatched a victory from the team of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan with the score 15-13.
We congratulate the volleyball players of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on the honored 3rd place. We express special gratitude to the active support group of the Ministry.
So far in overall team ranking among the ministries and departments, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan ranks the first.
