Flying around Kazan City and its suburbs

Last Sunday within the frame of a two-month ecological campaign on the sanitary cleaning the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov and the Head of Central Territorial Department Ilham Sabirov flew around Kazan and its suburbs in order to identify places of unauthorized waste disposal and other violations of urban improvement rules.

Such flights practice proves to be rather effective. Roadsides, private housing, building sites, garage co-operatives and market trade places continue to be problem areas.

Today groups of inspectors were sent to the places of rules violations with the view of determining the owners of the territories where the places of unauthorized waste disposal were found. The inspectors will draw up reports against violators, and administrative measures will be imposed.
