Flying around Almetyevsk and Bugulminsk districts within the frames of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign

The special commission including the Chief of South-East Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Nizamov, the Head of Executive Committee of Almetyevsk Municipal District Marat Girfanov and heads of city field services flew around the territories of Almetyevsk and Bugulminsk districts of the Republic of Tatarstan on April 10.
The following facilities were inspected during the flight: hydraulic engineering installations (engineering protection objects, ponds, embankments, dams, etc.), filling stations, summer camps, oil production facilities and transportation facilities located in the floodplain of the river Stepnoy Zay, agricultural objects and animal burial sites, pig farms, absorption fields of Almetyevsk, waste treatment facilities of such communities as Russian Aktash of Almetyevsk district and Karabash of Bugulminsk district, located in the zone of possible flooding.
Places of unauthorized waste disposal, farm animal waste release into the catchment-basin of the river, soil cover damage caused by construction equipment operation on hydromorphic soil sites were revealed. Inspectors of the Territorial Department will impose administrative measures regarding the facts of violation of nature protection legislation.
