The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Central Scientific Research Institute of Geology of Non-metallic Minerals will join efforts in the field of use and conservation of mineral resources. The corresponding document was signed today by the Minister Aleksandr Shadrikov and the Director of the Institute Evgeny Aksenov.

Earlier, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents of the Novosheshminsky district through the People's Control information system. They complained about an unauthorized landfill in the village of Sloboda Yekaterininskaya.

Earlier, within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors of the Priiksky department identified an unauthorized landfill in Bavly. The total area of the violation was 472 sq.m. Environmentalists have calculated the amount of damage caused to the soil. It amounted to 395,816 rubles.
