Today Tatmedia Agency has held a press conference devoted to the results of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Problems of Life Safety: Theory and Practice”.
The event saw attendance of Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Andrey Kalayda, Head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Tatarstan Ministry of Interior Rifkat Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Internal Affairs Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Civil Defence and Emergencies Nikolay Surzhko, Tatarstan Minister of Health Ayrat Farrakhov.
According to Andrey Kalayda, 518 scientists and specialists including 60 doctors of science and 69 candidates of science took part in the work of «Urgent problems of environmental safety» workshop. Leading scientists representing the academic and research institutes of Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, Moscow, St.Petersburg and Ufa told about recent developments and current achievements relating to environmental safety provision in the different life spheres. In total,18 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the workshop.
42 reports were heard in the group plenary session within the framework of which innovative methods were considered of protection from pollution of atmospheric air and surface water objects along with the efficient developments in the sphere of waste utilization and the productions of wholefood.
