To uphold the decision of environmental specialists and to hold the violator liable to a fine in the amount of 50 thousand rubles. Such decision was made by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan towards the Almetyevsk organization "Tatneftedor". Earlier, the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan demanded from the company provision of documents confirming the sand extraction at a quarry in Leninogorskiy District. The organization failed to provide the relevant information, for which it was prosecuted under Art. 17.7 of the Administrative OffencesCode of the Russian Federation. The environmental specialists submitted materials on this fact to the Almetyevsk City Court, which remained on side of the inspectors of the South-Eastern Administration. The violator, disagreeing with this decision, appealed the decision to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The court also supported the conclusion of environmental specialists.
