“Clean country”. 26 projects on elimination of accumulated harm was approved in 12 regions of Russia

More than 2.7 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for elimination of accumulated harm. 26 projects will be implemented in 12 regions of the country. Among them - Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd regions, the Republic of Chuvashia, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Udmurtia, etc. The full list is available on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia. The measures are implemented under the “Clean Country” program, andaimed at reduction of environmental damage coming from disposal of solid domestic wastes, reduction of environmental risks, and creation of interactive information system that will identify and eliminate unauthorized garbage dumps, based on warnings from citizens and public organizations.
