The solution of a long-standing problem. By the request of ecologists, the pollution of the lake in Orekhovka has been discontinued

Wastewaters from biological treatment facilities of the LLC "MC Orekhovka", which contaminated the lake Bezymyannoye in the settlement Orekhovka of the Zelenodolsk Region, are now diverted to the treatment facility of the village Vasil'yevo by sewer networks "Vasil'yevo-Salavat Kupere". The works have commenced on the drafting the project of ecological rehabilitation of the water body.

Let us remind that the inspectors from the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2016 made regular visits to the site of the lake. The survey identified the discharge of utility fecal wastewaters from biological treatment plants, owned by LLC "MC Orekhovka".

To resolve the issue in favor of the water body, the inspectors sent a claim to the Novo-Savinovskiy District Court of the Republic of Tatarstan on obliging LLC "MC Orekhovka" to obtain a permit for water use and to bring the quality of wastewaters, discharged from facilities, into compliance with the standard. By the decision of the court the claims should have been resolved before September 2017. In November 2017, the bailiffs turned off the sewage treatment plants. The reason for this was the decision of the Novo-Savinovsky Court of Kazan dd. June 13, 2017 in respect of the claim from Zelenodolsk Prosecutor's office.
