The dirty sewage effluents destroyed fertile soil layer. The damage, caused to the environment is being counted in Leninogorsk

The crossing of the streets Trubnaya and Tchaikovsky in  Leninogorsk. The discharge of untreated sewage effluents into the region's landscape was recorded on this crossing by the inspectors of South Eastern territotial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The square of contaminated area amounted to 109.6 sqm Ecologists together with specialists from SIAK selected samples of soil and sewage effluents. The results of laboratory investigations showed the exceedance of the content of ammonium by 41 times, oil products – by 3.3 times in the sewage water. The soil showed the excess of ammonium nitrogen by 6.9 times and oil products – by 7 times. Ecologists made a decision about infliction of administrative punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of 60 thousand rubles and issued the statement to eliminate the violations within one month.
