Seven points of Almetyevsk accept waste mercury lamps

Special containers for delivery of spent mercury lamps have been installed in 7 points in Almetyevsk. Spent lamps contain the hazardous substance - mercury, which has toxic effects on humans and the environment. In case of mechanical failure of one mercury lamp unsuitable for breathing becomes 5000m3 of air the percentage of hazardous effects of mercury on the environment can be reduced. For this, it is needed to deliver hazardous wastes in special containers.
