450 ideas for the study and conservation of plant resources. The unique projects were presented by Tatarstan schoolchildren on the forum "Zilant".
The city open environmental school pupils forum "Zilant", which is aimed at creating optimal conditions for intellectual and creative expression of students, the promotion of pre-work with high school students was held in Kazan for the eighteenth time. In the framework of the forum 450 school pupils presented investigation works and projects on the study and conservation of plant resources, which this year became the topic of the forum. The importance of this event in the education of environmentally educated generation was evaluated by the Head of Department of information systems and ecological education of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that this forum was a unique platform for the implementation of environmental ideas of the schoolchildren. "Students not only study the issues of environmental protection, but also offer their solution. It is encouraging, that the younger generation seeks to preserve the natural wealth of our region and calls the rest of us for this", - said Damir Valiullin. The city open environmental forum of school students "Zilant" is held annually. It is arranged by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of education of Executive Committee of Kazan, the City children's ecological and biological centre and Kazan Federal University.
