Hazardous wastes. An investigation on the dumping of fluorescent lamps was initiated in Almetyevsk Region

Dumping of production and consumption wastes, including spent fluorescent lamps, was revealed by the inspectors of the South Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the territory of the Almetevsk Region. The area of the cluttered site was 40 m2. Ecologists opened the administrative case on the fact of dumping the dangerous wastes. Persons, involved in this offence, will be brought to administrative liability under Art. 8.2 of the Administrative Code of Russia by the inspectors of the South- Eastern Administration: Non-compliance with environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements in handling waste production and consumption.
