These and other issues were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan at a meeting with State Duma Deputy of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation Irek Zinnurov and students of the Faculty of Law of the Kazan Federal University. The Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. "Ecology is an industry that has no definite borders, it unites all the inhabitants, regardless of age or type of activity. Today's meeting is a good example: here there are representatives of the supervisory authority, the legislative branch and the younger generation. It is gratifying that the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, which plays a key role in the region to address the issues of preserving natural resources, has become a platform for discussion of the topic of environmental protection," Farid Abdulganiev noted.
Within the framework of the event, the guests got acquainted with the main directions of the work of the Ministry, activities to identify environmental violations, and key performance indicators. Deputy Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov noted that the result of the work of inspectors in the field of environmental protection is reflected in the state information system "Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan". "All the information on the conducted inspections, the compiled protocols, issued resolutions, orders, representations is presented here. Every visitor of the website can see what environmental violations have been identified and which ones have been eliminated," he said. Fayyaz Shakirov also stressed that state environmental supervision in the republic is carried out effectively due to the territorial monitoring system. This system of environmental monitoring of the Republic consists of 8 modern stationary eco-analytical laboratories, 16 automatic air pollution control stations, 6 mobile environmental laboratories, a patrol ecological-analytical vessel "Flamingo" and 3 boats. With the operation of such facilities - an automatic station for controlling atmospheric air pollution and a mobile environmental laboratory - State Duma deputy Irek Zinnurov and KFU students got acquainted on this event.
