30 containers for collection of used batteries installed in Kazan
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the eve of the Day of Recycling, implemented a project to install containers for collection of used chemical current sources (batteries) and their subsequent disposal. Currently, 30 containers have been installed in the authorities offices, major shopping centers and higher educational institutions of Kazan. Specialized waste collection containers are located:
- in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan (Svobody square, 1),
- in the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan (Vishnevsky St. 26),
- in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan (Yamasheva Ave. 37a),
- in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kremlyovskaya Str. 9),
- in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan (Ostrovsky str. 4),
- in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kremlyovskaya Str. 13),
- in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan (3 containers - Moskovskaya street, 55)
- in the Office of the Federal Service for the Use of Natural Resources in the Republic of Tatarstan (Vishnevskogo str. 26a),
- in the Housing and Communal Services Committee of Kazan (Kremlyovskaya Str. 11),
- in the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University (3 containers - Kremlyovskaya St. 18),
- in the Kazan State Energy University (Krasnoselskaya St. 51),
- in the shopping center Savinovo (Yamasheva Ave. 93),
- in the shopping and entertainment complex Tandem (Ibragimova Ave. 56),
- in the hotel shopping and entertainment complex Korston (Ershova str. 1a),
- in the shopping center Gorki Park (R. Zorge str. 11b),
- in the shopping center Port (Orenburgsky Tr. 158a),
- in the shopping and entertainment center Frant (Fuchika str. 90),
- in the shopping center Prospekt (Victory Avenue, 50a),
- in the shopping and entertainment center Yuzhny (Pr. Pobedy 91),
- in the hypermarket Selgros Cash & Carry (Mamadyshsky Tr. 32),
- in the hypermarket Metro Cash & Carry (Vakhitova str. 4)
- in stores for house and garden Leroy Merlin (Amirkhana Ave., 3, Orenburg district, 174),
- in supermarkets Bakhetle"(Yamasheva av. 71 а, Orenburgsky tract 22а, Pavlyuhina str. 57).
The project for the collection of batteries is carried out by the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan in order to reduce the entry of hazardous waste into the landfills of solid domestic waste. It will consist of several stages: organization of collection, storage, transportation and disposal of used batteries.
