How did life on Earth appear? How did the evolution go? In the first ecological class of Tatarstan a practical lesson in natural science was held. A visiting lesson for schoolchildren was held by the natural science club Pilgrim of the Museum-Reserve “Kazan Kremlin”. During the interactive session, the children were told what the main difference of the Earth from other planets is, what the first living organisms were, and how the evolution of the plant and animal life went. The special interest of children was caused by the demonstration of geological exhibits: ammonite shells, survived to the present day. Organized by the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan Elena Gilmizyanova, the cognitive game contributed to the expansion of the kids’ knowledge and verification of the learning of the material. Also during the lesson, first-graders had the opportunity to travel to the ancient world. And with the help of the latest interactive exhibit of augmented reality using 3D labels to trace the human evolution. For active participation in the work of the club Pilgrim the Natural History Museum of Tatarstan awarded class 1 "A" with a letter of gratitude.
The project “First Eco-Class” was launched in Tatarstan from the 1st of September on the basis of Gymnasium No. 3 of the city of Kazan. It is implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces.
