For air pollution, LLC “Les-Service” suspended activity for 30 days

“It's impossible to breathe because of dust.” With this complaint, residents of Naberezhnye Chelny appealed to the Prikamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the visit, the inspectors found that the source of wood dust was one of the enterprises of the Forestry Department. The analysis of the samples taken showed the presence of pollutants in the air. According to this fact, environmentalists made an administrative report in accordance with Article 8.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation: “Emission of harmful substances into the atmospheric air without special permission”. They gave order on elimination of violations and the causes that led to environmental pollution. All materials of the administrative case were sent to the Naberezhnye Chelny city court. According to the decision, the activities of LLC Les-Service are suspended for 30 days.
