Environmental indicators are improved. Zelenodolsk dairy plant reconstructed drying system in accordance with inspectors’ order

Failure of the drying unit on JSC Zelenodolsk Dairy plant in Buinsk caused the discharge of pollutants into the soil. The Buinsk resident told about the violation to the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology. The prompt response of experts from the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan prevented major damage to nature. The pollution area was 3 sq.m. In selected soil samples, environmentalists identified an increased content of chemicals. Inspectors drafted an administrative report on part 2, article 8.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – “damage to lands as a result of violation of the rules for handling hazardous wastes for human health and the environment”. They issued the order to ​​eliminate the causes and conditions that led to the violation of environmental legislation.
In pursuance of the prescription, JSC “Zelenodolsk Dairy plant” repaired the A1-OR2CH drying plant and reconstructed the dust collection system at the outlet of the drying plant. The set of measures helped to eliminate the source of discharge of pollutants and ensure environmental safety.
