Practice of separate waste collection. Naberezhnye Chelny joined All-Russian project “Ecodvor”

The event within the framework of the All-Russian project was organized by activists of the movement “Clean Sheet” in conjunction with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the City Administration. Start of a series of ecological fests was given in the courtyard of the 46th complex. Here was talked about how to sort the garbage correctly, what can be obtained from the processed raw materials, and what wastes are not accepted for processing. Within the framework of the project, containers for separate collection of paper, plastic and metal were installed in the microdistrict. This will reduce the amount of garbage that falls on the landfill, and teach the townspeople to treat waste as a source of valuable recyclables.

Ecodvor is an all-Russian project aimed at forming a community of residents who are ready to continuously promote the culture and practice of separate waste collection in their yards and cities. The organizers of the project in Naberezhnye Chelny plan to hold the EcoDivor fest in each district of the autograd.
