Large-scale action in Naberezhnye Chelny to clean up Kama bank

200 people joined the All-Russian ecological clean-up Green Russia. The action with the support of the Prikamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny was organized by the participants of the movement Musora.Bolshe.Net.Naberezhnye Chelny and the Youth Center Orion. Representatives of commercial and educational organizations, members of social movements, students, schoolchildren and just unindifferent residents united to clean up the Kama bank. They cleaned extensive coastal area, sorted about 160 bags of garbage, which is sent for further processing. “Participants are volunteers who became a part of a large environmental movement. The action is a confirmation that the inhabitants of the city are developing an ecological consciousness,” experts of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of RT noted.
All-Russian ecological cleanup “Green Russia” started on September 2. The purpose of the event is to improve the ecological situation in the cities and settlements of Russia, the formation of ecological consciousness, and the enhancement of the ecological culture of the population. On the territory of Tatarstan, the action is held for the fifth time. The nature protection measures within the framework of the action will continue until the end of September.
