Tatarstan – leader of All-Russian reserve lesson 2017

The Republic of Tatarstan became the leader in terms of the number of participants in the All-Russian project “Reserve Lesson”. More than 63 thousand Tatarstanians took part in the campaign. The awarding ceremony was held in Khakassia as part of the First International Youth Meeting of Friends of Protected Areas. The diploma of the leader of the All-Russian Reserve Lesson of 2017 was presented to Aivaz Zakuanov, assistant to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that special attention is paid to environmental education and enlightenment in Tatarstan. Annually “Lessons of cleanliness”, “Lessons of Ecology” and other activities aimed at strengthening knowledge of the younger generation in environmental issues are held. It is symbolic that the previous youth gathering of the friends of the reserved islands was held in Tatarstan, stressed Aivaz Zakuanov, and handed over the “key” of the event to the Republic of Khakassia.

As part of the First International Youth Meeting of Friends of Protected Areas in Khakassia, the alley “Trace of the Meeting” was opened. Participants and guests of the event planted young fir, rowan, and apple trees.
