Minister of Ecology Farid Abdulganiev met with Alexander Krajukhin – Honored Worker of Geodesy and Cartography

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, met with the adviser to the General Director of JSC RosKartografy, Honored Worker of Geodesy and Cartography Alexander Krajukhin. The Minister spoke about the regulation of subsoil use, the use and reproduction of the mineral resource base in Tatarstan, geological exploration and geodetic activities on the territory of the Republic, the state examination of mineral reserves and socio-economic programming for the long term.
Alexander Krayukhin is the member of the Editorial Board of Atlases: “Atlas of the Republic of Tatarstan” (2005); “Atlas of the Republic of Bashkortostan” (2005); “Atlas of Social and Economic Development of Russia” (2009), etc. He participated in the creation of cartographic works: “The Political Atlas of the World” (2005); “The Geographic Atlas of Russia” (2005, 2008); “Moscow from Space” (2010); “Complete Atlas of Russia” (2011) and many other cartographic works. He took a direct and active part in the creation of the National Atlas of Russia. Being the responsible organizer of the Russian exposition of cartographic products at numerous international exhibitions, Alexander Krayukhin repeatedly represented the “National Atlas of Russia” and other cartographic works, for many years participated in the International Book Fair, which takes place annually in the city of Frankfurt/Maine. Many cartographic works created under his guidance and presented at exhibitions were awarded with prestigious awards.
