Results of contest “School Eco Patrol” to be summed up in Kazan on October 7
On October 7 in Tatarstan the results of the III republican contest “School Eco Patrol” will be summed up. This year among the participants there are kids who scored more than 1000 points. The greatest activity was shown by students of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Cheremshan, Spassk, and Yutaz districts.
The idea of the contest is that every schoolchild who has a mobile phone can record landfills and send photos through the call center filter of the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, where statistics are generated on each schoolchild, form, school, and municipality. For each landfill, special measures are taken by the environmental authorities, and the schoolchild receives scores and a notification of the landfill elimination with the photograph attached. As an information and technical platform for the contest, a mobile app for iOS or Android for the presentation of photo or video messages has been created and is functioning. With the help of this mobile application, the students can register in the Contest, using the existing personal account on the portal https://edu.tatar.ru/.
Students from 1 to 11 forms can take part in the contest. The objectives of the contest:
- involvement of students of general education organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan in practical work to improve the environment state;
- popularization of state and municipal services provided to the population in electronic form;
- developing an active life position in students of general education organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
