12 September 2017, Tuesday

Corrupted agricultural land, excavators and special equipment were seen by environmentalists during the helicopter flight. Later, the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found illegal mining on the land of agricultural purposes at the village of Kaleikino, Almetyevsk District, by Tokarlikova JSC. Under the guise of measures to improve the land productivity, the organization extracted and exported common minerals (crushed stone, clay). The illegally seized rubble was transported to the territory of the construction site of the dairy complex near the village Russkiy Aktash of Almetyevsk district. 24 tons clay were taken to a section of the road near the railway crossing, near the Kaleikino station.
The ecologists found that as a result of illegal development, 92,026 m2 of land were destroyed, the depth of seizure of subsoil was 1.5-3.7 m. The damage to natural resources amounted to 2,446,560 RUR. On this fact, JSC named after Tokarlikova was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 7.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation: “Use of subsoil without a license for the use of subsoil”. A fine of 800 thousand RUR was imposed.
