Fest for young environmentalists in Naberezhnye Chelny

Fest for young environmentalists was organised in the children’s camps “Winged” and “Sunny” of Naberezhnye Chelny. A cognitive event for children was conducted by specialists from the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. They told the children about the diversity of plants and animals of the republic, the peculiarities of natural resources of the native land, the significance and role of nature in human life. Environmentalists noted that between man and the environment there is an inextricable link that can be lost as a result of the negative human impact on the nature objects. Therefore it is necessary to know nature from the very beginning, to love and protect it. Kids, in turn, told environmentalists about how they care about the environment. During the summer holidays schoolchildren carried out research work on studying the diversity of trees, organized a contest of social posters on the topic “We will preserve nature!”, took part in the environmental campaign “Clean Coast”. The kids plan to hold more ECO activities in the second half of July and August, and at the beginning of the school year they will sum up the results of the ecological summer.
