Built a bathhouse, put a fence, littered land with garbage – several environmental offences were committed by a resident of the village of Bolshiye Kaybitsy near the river Berlya. Infringements of the nature protection legislation were revealed by the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is found that the distance between the building and the water body is 3 meters, while according to the law it should be at least 20 meters. In addition, environmentalists have discovered the fact of installing a fence that prevents free public access to the Berlya river. Both violations are a violation of art. 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: “Non-compliance with the provision of free access to a public water body and its coastal strip”. At the same site, the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky TA identified a garbage dump area of 28 square meters. On this fact, the offender will be held liable under Art. 8.2. of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: “Non-compliance with environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements when handling production and consumption wastes, substances that deplete the ozone layer, or other dangerous substances”.
