March 30 – Earth Protection Day Annually on March 30, Earth Protection Day is celebrated.

The purpose of this holiday is, first of all, the protection of the environment of our planet. Earth Protection Day began to be celebrated in the 20th century. It was during this period when scientists calculated that without supporting the ecology of the Earth, mankind could disappear in 300-1000 years. The exact history of the creation of the holiday is unknown, apparently, it was established by the organization for the natureprotection. On this day various measures to conserve and care for natureare carried out, like planting trees, cleaning ponds of debris, refraining from driving for the whole day, etc. Also, on Earth Protection Day actions for reasonable and careful use of natural resourcesare conducted, first of all, economical use of natural resources. This holiday, which falls on March 30, is a worldwide event. On this day, lessonsfor young schoolchildren are held in schools aimed at instilling in them love for our planet.
