Moscow to host festival “Original nature”

The IV All-Russian festival “Original Russia” opens on January 20 at the Central Artists Housein Moscow. The program includes wildlife photo exhibition, master classes by leading photographers-naturalists, film shows, and quest on the route indicated on the adventure map. In 2017, the main themes of the festival will be the 100th anniversary of establishment of the system of protected areas in Russia and the Year of Ecology. Visitors will be able to talk with the staff of protected areas, learn about the history of Russian reserves and national parks. In 2017 “Original Russia” will be held in a unique format. Video cameras installed in protected areas will enable everyone to observe life of animals and birds in real time.

On weekends there will be workshops of famous landscape photographers, meetings with documentary filmmakers, well-known travellers, popular scientific lectures and presentation of national projects dedicated to the natureprotection.

The program of the “Original Russia” will also include the first runsand recent movies about nature and travel. The festival will run until 26 February 2017.
