For illegal extraction of sand, the violator faces a fine of 800 thousand rubles

800 thousand rubles will be paid by the violator for illegal extraction of sand in the Mendeleevsky district.

Earlier, inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified a floating crane extracting river sand in the Nizhnekamsk reservoir. As it turned out, the floating crane carried out the extraction of common minerals without a license for the right to use the subsoil. To carry out investigative and operational actions, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan were called to the place. The volume of illegally extracted sand amounted to more than 1.5 thousand tons.

The violator faces a fine of 800 thousand rubles. Moreover, in addition to the main fine, environmentalists calculated the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 320 thousand rubles. Now a claim for damages is being prepared against the violator.
