On the Year of Ecology, a green corner appeared in the Kazan school boarding school named after Lastochkina

Flowering spiraea and lush chestnuts. A green corner opened within the framework of the Year of Ecology on the territory of the Kazan Boarding School named after E.G. Lastochkina for children with disabilities. Trees for the ECO zone was planted by schoolchildren, activists of the Green Planet movement, students of the Station of Children and Youth Tourism and Excursions and students of the Kazan school. The specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told the students how to properly plant trees and take care of them. Elena Gilmizyanova, the leading expert of the Department of Environmental Education and Interaction with Public Organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, noted that participation in such environmental protection activities will make it possible for schoolchildren to take care of plants. As part of the environmental campaign, the students created a green corner of which they will care and protect it, as a set of living beings, stressed the specialist of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan. The students, in turn, told how they would care for chestnuts and spirea shrubs. The schoolchildren developed a list of works for the care of trees: watering, fertilizing soil in a green corner, cleaning the territory and, if necessary, removing damaged shoots.
