The Meeting of the Final Boardof the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Departmentof the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan was held today in Kazan with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov and it was devoted to the results of work in 2014 and the tasks for 2015.The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, and Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan for the Republic of Tatarstan, Farit Khayrutdinov,made the main reports.Text of the report made by the Ministry of Ecology
Kazan Children’s Ecological and Biological Center together with the State Autonomous Establishment of Further Education “Republican Olympiad Center” under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstanannounced the start of the Republican contest “Second life of a package”. Educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan can participate in it. The project is aimed at extensive advocacy of a healthy lifestyle among pupils of educational establishments, as well as formation of healthy lifestyle habits in the young generation. The event will be held in the following categories: “Sewing pattern”, “Toy”, and “Arrangement”. The organizers intend for the participants to send crafts, photographs, posters, essays and costumes made from recyclables.Contest materials will be accepted until March 1, 2015.

The International Conference“Systems of solid domestic waste management: legal, financial and technical solutions” will be held in Moscow in May 2015.
The conference is aimed at arrangementof a platform for efficient dialoguebetween business, investors and authorities, sharing of accumulated experience and innovation approaches in the field of processing and recovery of solid domestic waste, as well as selection of rational solutions of the burning problems in the field.

The meeting on discussion of the Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan up to 2030 was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.Development of the Strategy2030 is carried out by the International Center for Social and Economic Researches “Leontyevsky Center” by orderof the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Minnikhanov.
The first revision of the Strategy 2030 was discussed in the course of the meeting, and the tasks for further cooperation were set regardingelaboration of the Plan for implementation of the Strategy 2030.
Strategy 2030 plotted global vectors for development of the territory of the Republic including complex development of transport infrastructure, augmentation ofproduction capacities and other issues, while sustainable development of the territory is of top priority in the given setting.
The first revision of the Strategy 2030 was discussed in the course of the meeting, and the tasks for further cooperation were set regardingelaboration of the Plan for implementation of the Strategy 2030.

Research-to-practice conference “Water and sanitation: quality and efficacy” will be held in Ufa on April 7, 2015.
Goals of the conference include:
• Exchange of relevant information between representatives ofwater utilities, facilities of housing and public utilities, as well as regional administrations that regard the problems of operation of water and sanitation systems.
• Generalization of experience on solution of tasks of efficientresource-saving meeting of demands of population and industry in potable and technical water.
• Popularization of innovations in the field of water and sanitation.
• Elaboration ofrecommendations regarding implementation of technological innovations in the field of water
Goals of the conference include:

Photo-exhibition“Unique water facilities of Russia” opened in Moscow on January 29, 2015. Photographic works of both amateurs and professionalsof photography who captured beauty, uniqueness and variety of rivers, water facilities, lakes and other water objects of Russia will be featured at the exhibition.Exposition participants will be able to place them on the interactive map of Russia.
The IIInternational Contest of Ecological Fashion “Ecoboom-2015” will be held in March in Perm. The contest is aimed at creation of conditions for promotion in the young generation of ecological culture andadvocacy of healthy attitude to the environment. The participants should 21years old or younger.
The contest is held in the following categories:
- “Experiment” – collections made from secondary raw materials and packing material (paper, plastics, metal, PE and so on).
- “ECO Planet” – collections made from natural fabric (cotton, flax, wool, silk and so on), as well as natural materials (straw, seeds, grain, sea shells and so on).
